Volunteer Opportunities

No matter your skills or interests, there’s a place for everyone at FOPE! Join us in protecting and celebrating the Estuary.

Habitat Restoration

Assist with planting eelgrass, trees, and other native vegetation.
Participate in shoreline cleanups to remove debris and improve habitats.
Monitor and maintain trails around the estuary.

Educational Programs

Support school outreach programs and community workshops.
Lead or assist with guided hikes and nature tours.
Share knowledge and skills related to the estuary’s ecology.

Wildlife Monitoring

Join bird counts and surveys to track species populations and contribute to conservation data.
Assist with water quality testing and monitoring aquatic habitats.
