Each summer, the Pugwash Estuary House serves as a research hub for students conducting hands-on environmental studies. From habitat monitoring to conservation projects, students gain field experience while contributing valuable data to ongoing research efforts.
The house provides accommodations when possible, creating a supportive space for learning, collaboration, and ecological stewardship. Through this work, FOPE fosters the next generation of environmental leaders and deepens our understanding of the estuary’s ecosystems.
